Orientation Half Hour On Delta Broadcasting Service

Today, during the Orientation Half Hour on Delta Broadcasting Television (DBS), Asaba, Nigeria.

I joined the Public Relation Officer (PRO), of the state orientation bureau, Mr. Johnson Ebigide who ably represented the Orientation Boss Hon. Barr. Eugene Azuka Uzum.

To educate, enlighten and inform Deltans in particular and the world at large on what the Administration of the Okowa’s Government did differently in the management of the resultant effects caused by Flood.

In the cause of the programme, Deltans where made to understand the proactive measures worthy of commendation taken by DTSG in Mitigating the hazardous effects of flood.

This amongst other measures included the timely wake up action in Sensitisation of all, particularly those living in flood prone areas on the need to taking vital things and themselves to upland for safety.

Thereafter, information regarding the setting up of the interministerial committee headed by the SSG, Barrister Chiedu Ebie.

The SSG and his team members have remained focused on delivering the mandate given to them in ensuring that more comfortable living standards for the Flood victims were fully in place day after day.

The flood victims numbering over 18,000 persons in the eleven camps across the three senatorial district are currently being catered for.

Deltans where greatly appreciated for their support and understanding of Government positions in improving their living standard and making them feel satisfied because of the credibility of the processes and persons involve.

The Orientation Boss via the PRO was thankful to His Excellency Governor OKOWA for giving Governance a human face which has made both Deltans to be on same page with the Government making Governance to be much easier.
